The YONSEI Evidence Based Nursing Center was established as a part of a commemorative project celebrating the centennial of the College of Nursing in 2006.  After a rigorous authorization process, we were designated as the first and only JBI Affiliated Group in Korea in 2007.

JBI is an international nonprofit research organization based at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and was founded in 1995 to honor the contributions of the 19th-century Australian nurse, Joanna Briggs. JBI investigates a wide range of policy and research development related to evidence-based healthcare practices.

The YONSEI Evidence Based Nursing Center, JBI Affiliated Group, has maintained an organic collaborative relationship with the JBI Headquarters. We have contributed to the enhancement of the quality of nursing and the quality of life in patients by producing, distributing, and educating evidence-based healthcare with clinical partners for the prevention and management of diseases and health promotion.
